Felder Thornhill, Chairman, has 50 years of investment experience in Austin and has been the Chairman of Thornhill Securities, Inc. since its inception in 1988. Prior to TSI, he was a principal in Financial Services of Austin. He earned his BA from the University of Texas.
Gabe Thornhill, CFA®, President, has 10 years of investment management experience. He worked with JP Morgan Investment Management as an analyst and portfolio manager, ultimately co-managing two portfolios totaling $1.8 billion. He also worked for Koch Industries as a quantitative analyst on their equity hedge fund strategies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and earned an MBA and BA from the University of Texas.
Linda Arredondo, Head of Operations, has been with the firm since 2003. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
Jerry Chapman, AAMS®, Financial Advisor, joined Thornhill Securities from Edward Jones where he was a financial advisor and managed their Lago Vista office. Jerry held various management positions at IBM and was the Location Manger of LSI Logic’s Austin Center. He is also President of the Heart-of-Texas Chapter of Better Investing. He earned a BS in Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Leticia Trevino, Operations, has been with the firm since its inception in 1988. Previously, she worked for Financial Services of Austin and several other Austin area firms. She attended the University of Texas.
Howard Phillips, Financial Consultant, has 20 years of investment experience.
William J. Hudspeth Jr., Board of Directors, is Chairman of Austin Trust Company. He received a B.A. from Amherst College and a J. D. from the University of Texas Law School. Mr. Hudspeth has over forty years of trust and banking experience. He is a member of the Travis County Bar Association, Texas Bar Association and the Real Estate, Probate and Trust section of the State Bar.
Dan Remick, Board of Directors, is President of Austin Trust Company. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU. Mr. Remick has over twenty-five years experience in personal trust and employee benefit administration, operations and audit.
Sam Kimberlin, Board of Directors, has 40 years of experience in banking in Texas. He is on the Development Board for Austin Trust. |
